Losing a loved one is often a surreal experience. Besides grieving the loss of a family member you are forced to make decisions on the minute details of the funeral and burial of which we have minimal experience. One of those details is how the grave will be marked until a permanent headstone or monument can be placed on the grave.
A temporary marker is a small memorial that marks the burial site. Most of the time, it includes the name and date of birth and death of your deceased loved one.
Being temporary means that many people take home the marker and place it in their garden, such as our Director Therese Hallett has done for her Mum (see the gallery below).
